DJ Mackie promoted to BJJ Black Belt at Crossville MMA

Crossville MMA has promoted its FIRST Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt as Crossville MMA founder and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu head coach DJ Mackie was promoted on Thursday, January 26th, 2023 to the rank of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt by Professor Julio 'Sandy' Rodriguez.

With the promotion DJ becomes the first person to ever be promoted to Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Cumberland County and becomes the only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt in the area.

The Black Belt promotion was an accumulation of nearly 15 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training for DJ and marks a high accomplishment for any martial artist, especially in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
