This past Saturday, Memento Combat Sports in Louisville, TN hosted their second in-house tournament, this time it was a NoGi only event under the ADCC rules set.
This tournament was put in place to get beginners and intermediate grapplers a chance to compete in a tournament under the ADCC rules set. The ADCC, or Abu Dhabi Combat Club, tournament is the largest and most prestigious tournament in the world. It is the Olympics of Jiu-Jitsu and held every other year. The past year though, the ADCC started hosting open tournaments all over the world, and the Memento tournament was a great way for athletes to get exposed to the rule-set that the ADCC tournaments use. |
